	About Us
		BalloonRelease.com is a site dedicated to survivors of child-loss. We are an action-oriented support site for grieving parents. We promote events to help grieving parents and their families through the most difficult times, which include the holidays, anniversary dates, and birthdays. We can never forget the children who have gone before us. It is our goal to inspire healing, support, and camaraderie for families in need. Funding of the site was originally donated by the Gabrielli-Villanueva and Heyerdahl families, both mothers who lost children in early 2002. Unfortunately they no longer support this site either with content or financially, and it is now open to the community to Submit Photos, Poems, and Comments/Memorials in the Guestbook. Grief support groups including The Compassionate Friends and www.groww.org (Heavenly Angels branch) are also great resources for information and networking with other families. Additional support has been provided by many others who lost children, primarily friends from Groww's Heavenly Angels branch and some friends from The Compassionate Friends. Additional thanks to the many grief therapists who are holding the hands of these mourning souls, through the most unthinkable of life's difficulties.
