| BalloonRelease.com is a site dedicated to survivors of child-loss. We are an action- oriented support group for grieving parents. We plan events to help grieving parents and their families through the most difficult times, which include the holidays, anniversary dates, and birthdays. We never forget the children who have gone before us. It is our goal to inspire healing, support, and
camaraderie for families like our own. Funding of the site has been donated by the family of Maximilian Alexander Sanchez I. The main organizers of the events are Cecilia Gabrielli-Villanueva and Diane Heyerdahl, both mothers who lost children in early 2002. They met in the grief support groups The Compassionate Friends and www.groww.org (Heavenly Angels branch). Additional support has been provided by many others who lost children, primarily friends from Groww's Heavenly Angels branch, some friends from The Compassionate Friends, and especially Lisa, Nicole's Mommy. Additional thanks to our grief therapists who are holding our hands through the most unthinkable of life's difficulties.
