The Sacramento Valley Chapter of The Compassionate Friends invites families who have lost a child to join in a candle lighting get together on Sunday, Dec. 11. 
Refreshments will be provided beginning 6 p.m., with the candle lighting to begin at 6:50. The candles will burn from 7 to 8 p.m., along with many families around the world, celebrating the lives of the children and remembering them with love. 

The program will be held at The Lions Club House, 417 Lincoln Ave., Woodland. Refreshments and facilities for this event have been donated.
